Is Hamlet a soldier, a courtier or a scholar? What else is there? Hamlet is perhaps a character who carries the force of his father's vengeance who, in the form of a ghost, forces his son to commit the murder of his uncle. He's a classy character that isn't linear but revolves around the influences of different characters. Hamlet is therefore only an illustration of an uncertain and indecisive character. “The eye, the tongue, the sword of the courtier, of the soldier, of the scholar,” is what Ophelia says about Hamlet during a conversation with Claudius and Polonius. What Ophelia is actually saying (in a modernized text) is that Hamlet had the grace of a gentleman, the wit of a scholar, and the strength of a soldier. This occurs in act three, the first scene, and page seven of Shakespeare's play. Throughout the play, Hamlet experiences a lot of pain towards himself, because of his suicidal thoughts and towards his family, such as him seeing his mother marry his uncle only a month after his father's death. Hamlet's genre is a mixture of revenge and tragedy and Hamlet wants and knows that his uncle murdered his father, but since there is a lot of death and murder, it is also a tragedy. There are certain aspects of Hamlet that he disapproves of as a character. One of them is lust – it is self-indulgent sexual desire (personified as one of the deadly sins); strong sexual desire; to have a desire, an appetite or a great desire - For example, one's mother marrying one's uncle. Hamlet disapproves of this because only a month has passed and already his mother is married to his uncle and acts as if nothing happened and tells Hamlet that she is happy. There are many views of Hamlet and the type of person he is. Some believe he is a soldier for his bravery in standing up to his uncle...... middle of paper ...... at his mother's ceremonies and being with her wherever she was present, and finally a scholar, for his intelligent manners and introduced us to a man of sensitive character and who is also known for his intellectual gifts. Additionally, Hamlet could very well be seen and recognized as a Renaissance man or a mathematician. A polymath could be someone whose experience covers a wide range of varied fields; Such a person is believed to rely on complex bodies and groups of data to solve specific problems. In Hamlet's case, it would involve solving the death of his father, collecting information about the events and people, and then finally identifying his uncle about his actions and the consequences that followed, e.g. death of his father. .com/question/index?qid=20080721190816AADu1F0http://www.studymode.com/essays/Hamelt-Nates-40276621.html
