It took place in Waterloo, London. The documentary shows us the beautiful surroundings of Waterloo Station day and night. It starts by showing us how busy everyone is trying to catch their train. At the beginning, the station master stops at a florist and buys his rose of the day to wear on his suit. Then he goes to his office and works with the signal box. The documentary shows people from different groups, for example: little boys, drunk boys, Jews, middle class women, Jamaicans, and many more. The director focuses on a little boy lost in the station.
