    The most important part of any orchestra is the conductor's ability to understand non-verbal cues to communicate with his orchestra. By paying close attention to detail, a conductor understands when an orchestra becomes off-kilter, begins to rush through an arrangement, or does not execute an arrangement with passion. Likewise, a physiotherapist must be able to pick up on their patients' non-verbal cues like a conductor. For example, if a patient is having difficulty with an exercise or finds a certain movement more difficult than before, a physical therapist must be able to analyze nonverbal cues to be able to adjust a rehabilitation plan accordingly. When I think of professionalism in the field of physical therapy, I can't help but relate to the intricacies of orchestration. As I begin my journey into the healthcare field, I want to bring not only the mundane qualities of professionalism, but also the qualities of orchestration that transcend the norm. I hope that one day I will be able to take on the role of conductor of an ensemble, being able to transcend professionalism and invoke power in my patients through their journey of
