There was an article called Why Women Can't Have It All, and our reading stated that women were struggling to work and be a great mother. Kim is lucky to be able to continue her job while working from home. So she's there to experience being a full-time mom, but Kim also gets to work and earn her own money. Kim's family is a traditional family in a sense, with Aden's father working away from home daily and his mother at home with him, but my aunt also works from home. Kim will be the first to tell you that being a great wife, mom, employee and doing household chores isn't easy, but she'll also be the first to tell you how rewarding it is for her to balance all her hats. Comparing Kim to what we learned in class, she has many similarities and differences from our classes. An example is the fact that she spends more time on household chores than her spouse and also works which does not seem to affect her marital relationship or her child. Sometimes I can see role tension in her, especially when she is busy at the end of the month, but she is good at balancing everything and doing what is important first, realizing that her most important roles are that of mother, wife, employee, then housewife. . Kim sees the differences between the sexes, leans toward the natural side, saying her son is entirely a boy, but also sees the similarities between the sexes as a
