    “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Alexia Sherman is a novel set on an Indian reservation called Spokane, located northeast of Washington. Junior. The character takes us into his everyday world where he encounters battles such as his identity, loss of loved ones, dealing with hope in Rez and poverty in Rez. Despite his struggles, he decides to find hope and leave Rez and in that hope, he develops friendships. , a future, dreams and happiness he could never have imagined. At the beginning, Junior introduces us to one of his biggest struggles that he faces, which is the physical problem. At six months old, Junior had to have surgery due to illness. called cerebrospinal fluid. His conditions did not allow him to develop a normal-sized body due to the physical challenge.
