As a typical housewife, the woman led a very structured life; consisting of waking up, taking care of your husband, son and house, falling asleep, just to wake up the next day and do it all again. But after realizing that she could no longer stand to be with her family, that she could barely stand to look at them, she tried many new roles. It didn't take long before she realized she couldn't live without the structure she was accustomed to. When she moved into a room away from her husband and child, she desperately tried to establish some sort of routine. She brushed her hair every day at the same time, in the same place, and one day, when she had nothing else to do, she decided to write a sonnet: "She had a choice for sonnet, ABAB or ABBA to start. She pondered these possibilities until she came to a broader choice: She didn't need to write a sonnet. She left her old life behind in hopes of regaining something she lost while only caring for her husband and son, but the simple freedom of starting the sonnet in different ways made her nervous and pushed her to stop. She wanted to start fresh, but was unable to do something different from what she had done before.
