  • Essay / The Caller: A Short Story - 1268

Hello led to a big mistakeHello, can I speak with a caterer, please? The answer was "yes, of course", but she's not here at the moment, and do you want her home number to call her? She said yes, please. Yes, it changed his life forever; if she could stop, her whole life would be different and better than today. I was a high school student. After two weeks, one of my classmates asked me to take my math notes because I was a good student. Deli was the student who asked me to take my notes. I gave her the notes, gave her permission to take them, and she would return the notes to me the next day. Deli gave me his phone number; it was 9:38 a.m. Monday, Deli was away. I was so worried about my grades because I had a quiz that week. When I got home; I called the Deli number but called 0983. The boy told me his sister wasn't there and he gave me his home number which was around 3pm. At 5 p.m. I called Delis' phone number. I said, "Hello," but the voice was the same boy who told me his sister wasn't there. I said that's why you did this with me. He told me he wanted to talk to me. I understood that in my religion and my culture this was unacceptable, but I told him what you expected from me, you didn't even know me; then, I closed the phone without saying goodbye. The next day the phone rang around 3:30 p.m., and I usually came from school around that time. I answered the phone, but no one spoke; then, I closed the phone. The phone rang again and I answered the phone saying “what”. The caller said, “Can I talk to you please, just a minute.” I didn't like to reject him because he was very polite, but I shouted at him, "What do you want?" He said I couldn't stop thinking about your voice; you have a beautiful voice. I'm... middle of paper... and because I made him a promise, and I know my father will kill him if he finds out this about his friend. I have told him this several times, if he is the only man in the world; he cannot win me or possess me. During my last year of college, I was so tired. In fact, I couldn't bear all these theses in my life. I got a bad GPA. I was so depressed and my family noticed that it had changed, but it was so late. In any case, I decided to leave my city and my country to forget all these events in my life. On the last day in my city, I took a bouquet of flowers; I went to a poor neighborhood where the boy's house is located. I left the bouquet on her door and wrote a little note “goodbye forever”. Then I took all my notes and my last phone, I threw them all into the sea. Unfortunately the evil person can still follow us even when we are far away from them because they are evil..
