Physics is a very theoretical and mathematical unit that, although much more difficult, is filled with very informative and interesting concepts to understand and learn. Through the unit many different topics were covered, mainly about light, which included many calculation formulas, and the different wavelengths in which light or waves operate. Things that really helped me understand the world of optics and its many rules included the different types of mirrors and lenses such as converging mirrors and the set of equations that came with them [See Appendix A] , the carousel of optical technologies. which helped me understand the outside world and how the medical field uses optics in their machines and in daily life [see Appendix B], and finally the biology of the eye and how light works with it it to produce a clear, sharp image for the brain to analyze and process the information [See Appendix C]. To begin with, the different types of mirrors and lens equations/diagrams will be discussed. First of all, physics was a completely new concept for many students and it was even a field in which students learned about the different types of mirrors such as converging mirrors and lenses, divergent mirror and lenses, mirror and lenses concave, mirror and convex lenses. There were many rules to understanding this and a lot of practice was required to understand the concept so that one could draw it on a test. The practice was done on the attached sheets and in the end they prove to be very useful in our studies for the exams, the final test and possibly in the future if one of the students takes physics. It helped me relate to real life as I now notice all the mirrors around me in my daily life and middle of paper......very informative and interesting concepts present and available to understand and learn. The optics unit had many different strands talking about light and how it works, which included many calculations, formulas, and the different wavelengths that light or waves work in. Areas that really helped me as a student understand the world of optics and its many rules included types of mirrors and lenses such as converging mirrors and the set of equations that came with them, carousel optical technology that helped me understand the outdoors. the world and how the medical field uses optics in its machines and in everyday life, and finally the biology of the eye and how light works with it to produce a clear, sharp image for the brain to analyze and process information. Overall, I believe that the physics unit was a very new, new and important concept to learn..
