    First, the journalists cover two very different places. One reports from the comfort of an office and familiar surroundings, while the other reports from a war-stricken foreign country. Although there is a common bond, they were both involved and had the ability to influence the government and they were both in danger. All journalists had the opportunity to report the truth, even if it had political and even personal repercussions. So, due to the political nature, all journalists were risking their lives and were aware of it. They also had the capacity to put other lives in danger. Woodward and Bernstein discovered how the information they collected had to be used strategically so as not to harm their sources, and Flynn and Henderson had the ability to create more conflict and terror in the country they were writing about. Thus, all journalists had to learn to take precautions when investigating, writing and reporting on their field of activity.
