This world has more than seven billion inhabitants, but not everyone is a hero. In a past life, there was a Native American named Natty Bumppo and he was considered an American hero. Being a hero is not something easy for a person, Natty Bumppo had done many things and helped others; as a result, people made him a hero. Every person has different traits or characteristics that make them who they are, and the characteristics that belonged to Natty Bumppo made him an American hero. Strength and humanity are two of Natty Bumppo's characteristics that made him a hero and these still exist for hero traits today. Strength is one of the important characteristics to expect from any hero because if a person is strong, they can stand on their own two feet. for someone else and help the weak person overcome something they are struggling with. In the story "The Last of the Mohicans", Natty Bumppo had shown strength and stood up for someone else. Natty helped a militiaman escape from the fort so he could return home and protect his family from danger. Even though Natty knew that helping the man escape was against the British colonel's wishes, he still managed to get the man out of the fort and out of danger despite many difficulties. He didn't regret helping the man escape, but he felt good. As a result of what Natty had done, the British colonel arrested him and ordered Natty to be hanged to death, but Natty was still strong and had to endure the colonel's punishments. In heroic characteristics there is a need for humanity, because if humanity is lacking, then a person would not care about anything. Natty Bumppo has human characteristics in many stories. For example, in chapter seven of the story titled "The D... middle of paper... the one who was in need, even if it put the one who helped him in danger. Firefighters or soldiers are heroes because they fight for others and find themselves in dangerous situations. Both traits are important for someone considered a hero. Two of the characteristics that make a person a hero are strength and humanity and these traits still manifest in a hero today. From the examples of Natty Bumppo, he was a very strong and humane man. He helped people even though he knew his punishment was death, but he did it anyway. Natty didn't like hurting anyone because he thought it was wrong to hurt living things. Natty Bumppo was a nice young man and his personality was already very human, which made him an American hero.
