    Autocratic leadership simply means that only one person is in charge. Many team members did not influence his decisions. His peers almost never challenged Job's decisions. Steve Jobs was the primary decision-maker and usually made decisions based on his ideas rather than solid evidence. Some words used to describe Steve were impatient, stubborn, and hypercritical, and sometimes downright cruel. Although this style of leadership may seem harsh to some, it opened the door to success for Steve Jobs. Through his innovative ideas, Jobs created one of the most successful technology companies in the world. Although his attitude and leadership style may have seemed arrogant to some, his dedication to innovation and design has surely benefited his company and consumers around the world. Jobs understood the importance of taking risks and could be considered one of the greatest risk-taking leaders in the world. Steve Jobs was far from perfect in every way. He made mistakes along the way, but he was always the first to learn from them and adapt in a way that allowed him to succeed. Jobs' leadership style was complex. He was extremely focused when engaged, confident enough to take risks, and charismatic enough to enlist legions of employees and customers in the relentless pursuit of his goal.
