    Talking to your parents about sex isn't the easiest thing to do, especially when the questions get a little personal. I found that talking about sex with my mother was not as terrible as I thought, but rather very enlightening. The questions that interested me were related to sex education during my mother's time (70s-80s). It was an informative way to understand how sex education has improved or stayed the same over the years. The lecture began with a series of questions about how my mother was taught about sex. To begin, the first question asked was “How did you learn about sex?” » Her response was very similar to how I had also been told about sex. Friends and media were a large part of society back then, just as they are today. My mother's words were: "You learn by hearing things at school and seeing people 'being bad'." I assumed she meant by having sex and experimenting. It didn't shock me to hear this since it still happens today with people learning about sex through other people and experiences. This precedent...
