Personal Responsibility what it means to me in my college studies. Without accountability, I won't succeed in college. To me, personal accountability means setting measurable goals and taking the time to follow through on the goals I set for myself. Personal responsibility for me is not being lazy and learning to manage my time effectively. Being responsible for my own finances is like keeping a roof over my head by going back to college to finish my degrees, so I can compete for a better job or promotion at work without meeting my goals . I'm setting myself up for failure. . Setting goals that are too ambitious or having too many goals to achieve is not a good thing, learning to set goals that can be achieved is very important. The relationship between personal responsibility and academic success is being on time for class and participating in class and working together as a group to discuss assignments that are part of the learning objective.
