Qualifications to become an entrepreneur can be obtained at many colleges, but education is not necessary to be qualified. One can start a business and succeed through their own intuition and skills. Steve Jobs only attended college for one semester and then dropped out. Yet Apple is now one of the most profitable companies in the world. If one chooses to go to college, some elite schools for entrepreneurship include the College of Business Administration at the University of Texas, the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and the Wharton School of Business from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, many colleges and training programs can provide continuing education for an entrepreneur, such as Stanford's Graduate School of Business and Purdue University's Kannert Graduate School of Management. Many training programs provide a source of continuing education for an entrepreneur. Small business resource centers offer help to business owners. These can be very useful as they generate local profits for the business, which can help a small business get off to a good start. As a result, continuing education can be easily found for an entrepreneur (Hausman 192-243). In an interview with Rob Plank, the qualifications and qualities to become an entrepreneur were discussed. “It all depends on your field. In our industry, accreditations look good, but ultimately customers just want their systems and network done and repaired” (Plank).
