But at the beach I found it easier to sit and watch the parents and children play. I felt like I shouldn't judge parenting styles because I remember when I was younger and how different my mother's parenting was from an outsider's perspective. Also, as I grew up in a mixed culture, I think one should not judge until one fully understands the situation. I did, however, find the observations interesting and helped me see how children's lifestyles have evolved since my childhood.
