    One of the cases described previously involved a woman who appeared to have been forced to consent. It was because the man gave her the choice to have sex with him or else he would kill her. This was coerced consent in that, for most people, death would leave them worse off than unwanted sex. This is a great example from Wertheimer of how someone can agree to consent, but it is not ethically acceptable. The threat that man poses to women is not even debatable as to whether it is ethical or not. It's simply wrong for him to force her to do something she probably wouldn't have agreed to otherwise..
