  • Essay / Art (The Importance of Arts in Education) - 1431

Throughout history, the story of wealth has repeated itself many times. In music, hundreds of composers had little or no formal education, much less musical education. They worked and challenged themselves to understand and create works of musical art for all to enjoy. There are many examples of these kinds of stories today, but those of the past are much more complex, because people who could not afford to watch music being performed were almost never able to hear music. Then the art turned out to be the same thing. However, instead of fortune stories, new art forms appeared. The moves from Impressionist paintings to Cubism are clearly big leaps, but they move nonetheless. Concluding with modern art is not a conclusion at all, because a new generation of art students who will study art and its potential will take up the challenge and create a new art form. As for literature, it is constantly evolving. There are so many people who challenge themselves to become the next Shakespeare or who reflect on their life and death, like Emily Dickinson. Young students should study literature. Without prior knowledge, there is no way they can create a new standard or art for the future. The great ones remain the great ones because they are studied and appreciated. An understanding of art, music and literature is crucial for today's students as they need to be challenged or achieve at a high level.
