Divorce for Caucasians and African Americans seems to be much more accepted than it once was. There are so many difficulties associated with divorce, such as role confusion, behavioral problems, depression, and psychological problems. These problems are often amplified by a certain race, culture, or socioeconomic class. Lower classes or races face even more single parenthood due to the lack of opportunities and the cycle they continue to fall into. This leads us to wonder why divorce is becoming more common and what the underlying factors are.
