It is often said that reducing immigration from third world countries means developing the country and its economy, but this model fails. It must be recognized that development does not stop immigration: countries that have been developing for several years, such as Mexico, Turkey and the Philippines, still have immigration rates among the highest on the planet. In fact, it is a reverse theory: we know that countries that begin to develop their infrastructure or other sectors attract more migrants because of the opportunities that result.
