    The time of restoration and fulfillment of God's plan would undergo certain changes and a reconfirmation of the faith of the Jewish people. The time tested by their loyalty and commitment would bring new challenges. God's purpose for the return of the Jews was tested through the test of continued and faithful worship despite the overwhelming obstacles that stood in the way of God's covenant. The restoration would consist of God's restoration reasoning, the tasks of the prophet, prophetic interpretations and Christian applications. Restoration Questions What was God's purpose in bringing the Jews back to Judah? From the time of Judah's exile, God had a plan of restoration and His goal was to restore the kingdom of David and preserve the lineage of the coming messiah Jesus Christ.
