LEADERSHIPLeadership is the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of goals. Leadership is influence – no more, no less. (John C. Maxwell). Leadership can be defined as the desire to control events, the understanding to chart a course, and the power to get work done, cooperatively using the skills and abilities of others. (Donald G. Krause). The leader is the person who can give influence to other individuals in a company. Something interesting in leadership is the existence of leaders who are in the organization who have their own structure by creating a relationship between leaders and followers to achieve excellence. Follow-up in an organization requires steps or activities that, in the leaders' plan to push their followers, increase determination and resolve towards the organization. Therefore, efforts to consolidate the activities of an organization are subject to the intelligence of certain leaders. An effective leader is someone who knows how to inspire and build relationships with their subordinates; able to convince subordinates that the organizational vision is not only important but achievable; able to challenge them with goals, projects, tasks and responsibilities that allow them to feel a sense of personal success, achievement and fulfillment; rewards subordinates who perform well with recognition, money, and promotions (Edwin A. Locke (1999). Meanwhile, leadership in Islam is trust. Often this takes the form of 'an explicit contract or commitment between a leader and his followers that he will do his best to guide them, protect them and treat them fairly and justly. Therefore, leadership in Islam is focused on. integrity and justice. An effective Islamic leader has a positive personality ......not just being able to do the complex work for employees to do it. 'one of the leaders must contribute to their employees The impetus is to encourage the employees to work in the best possible way The behavior of the employee can be effectively identified by the leaders and therefore we insist that it. be adopted in the sense that there is no consciousness.
