It seems that school is one of the most controversial topics in the world. Should cell phones be allowed in classrooms? Should students be allowed to eat during classes? Should every student have a laptop? But more importantly, should uniforms be mandatory in public schools? School districts around the world are fighting for or against the uniform requirement policy. This has been the subject of extensive debate for years. Ultimately, public schools should require students to wear uniforms because statistics have shown that uniforms help improve academic performance, reduce behavior problems, and improve the social environment. The school is focused solely on academics. The most logical thing to do would be to put in place policies that improve educational outcomes. Although some people may think that uniforms have nothing to do with work ethic, educators believe that wearing a uniform will increase a person's ability to stay on task and concentrate on his work. This not only applies to school, but it is also the reason why employers require their employees to wear uniforms at work (Survey Magnet). Academic performance increases when students are in a serious mood or when they are pursuing something. School reports show that when students wear “work clothes” rather than “play clothes” or “lounge clothes,” they take a more serious approach to their studies (Mallet). When students stay on task, concentrate on their work, and take a serious approach to their studies, academic achievement is bound to increase. The main reason why parents try to send their children to a private school is due to the large number of gender-related problems. , drugs and violence in public schools.
