Bronze Age Greece was a period in which their civilization flourished. They were a major power at the time and seemed to have everything they wanted in the palm of their hands. Many other civilizations have a period also known as the Bronze Age. However, Greece's Bronze Age is widely known to be the most prolific and dominant in history. The Bronze Age in Greece is estimated to have lasted between the 8th and 6th centuries BC and until around 146 BC. No one knows for sure the exact time period when it started and ended. However, these are the dates best known to be accurate. No other civilization has been able to remain a dominant world power longer than this period, which is why it is such an incredible period in history. During this period, Greece experienced major advancements in almost every aspect of modern society. They have grown by leaps and bounds socially, economically and technologically; among many other areas as well. All these attributes made Greece the main center of activity in the Mediterranean throughout this period. During their period of power, Greece saw three main civilizations develop within their social society. The Mycenaeans or Minoans are considered the first. The Minoans are known as the first advanced civilization in all of Europe. This is perhaps a major reason why the Greek era lasted so long. They created a great civilization on the island of Crete. The second major civilization of the Greek Bronze Age was the Cycladic society. They established their society on the islands of the Aegean Sea. They were considered an important contributor to the overall success of Bronze Age Greece. However, they were never as prominent as Minoan society...... middle of paper ....... The idea of droughts would not necessarily have led to the end of Greece, but it could have led to an increase in population. tensions between rival groups, which can lead to war and the end of many lives. In the early days of humanity, a natural disaster would have been a very devastating event with the technology in place in buildings and thinking they were at that time. There is no doubt that there are many different reasons and theories for building collapse. Bronze Age Greece and maybe it's just a combination of many or all of these. In our research we came to the conclusion that the Roman conquest of Greece after the Battle of Corinth, the Hellenistic period with the expansion of power in the Middle East, the period of Roman Greece, the general depopulation of urban areas , the Dorian invasion and natural phenomena. disasters all had an influence on the collapse of Bronze Age Greece.
