It is important to note that children have the right to receive a quality education. In this regard, reasonable learning environments are an essential factor contributing to children's education. All parents want their children to have access to quality and better education. In this quest, parents always look for learning environments with competent teachers and better learning facilities. It is therefore common to see parents always having the choice between taking their children to public schools, private schools or having their children taught at home. Differing opinions on homeschooling and public schooling have recently become the subject of controversy. Either way, both forms of learning should provide the child learning with a better education. However, each of the two forms of learning environments must be supported by valid arguments, as outlined below. Homeschooling Lately, homeschooling has been the most sought-after method of learning among American parents. In fact, it is estimated that more than a million children in the United States are now homeschooled (Cooper, 2005). Although this form of learning is legally acceptable, parents are responsible for teaching and supervising their children in all subjects. Additionally, parents can also hire private tutors for their children for home schooling. This form of learning aims to ensure that parents are committed to ensuring that their children are able to learn like other children in public schools. Personalized Attention Home schooling provides the child with personalized attention (Hassel & Hassel. 2004). However, home education can also be provided by encouraging parents and child to participate in community development. Conclusion The environment in which education is carried out is essential for children to learn. In this aspect, there are many forms of schooling that support the education of children; public education, home education and private education. However, each method of schooling has its own advantages and disadvantages compared to other methods of schooling. The above arguments are based on both homeschooling and public schooling. Each schooling method focuses on relevant issues that make one method more ideal over the other.
