    We already have automated machines designed to make our lives easier: vacuum cleaners, car washes, dishwashers, washing machines, litter box pickers, etc. We have many automated technologies that we can adjust to our personal preferences, such as TV and radio stations, thermostats, lighting, etc. Bill Gates even has a feature in his house that will switch different paintings depending on who is in the room. We humans love shortcuts and simple luxuries, but with technology taking away so much of our workload, we allow ourselves to be lazy. We already depend on technology. At the very least, we are already seriously dependent on it. How many hours are wasted glued to our cell phones, watching television or surfing the web? How would you communicate with friends and family without phone or email? How would we cook without our gas/electric stoves and microwaves? How would we store our food without refrigeration?
