While playing, Messi impressed many prominent football clubs due to his talent. When Messi turned 13, he moved to Barcelona with his family. There he played for Barcelona's under-14 team and scored 21 goals in 14 matches. Thanks to his talent, he progressed to the senior team of FC Barcelona where he made his informal debut. Since then, Messi has proven himself to be one of the best football players in history, breaking records and winning awards and trophies to date. He then played in the youth clubs of Sporting Lisbon where he showed great talent and made his club debut in 2002.
