    I can't think of anyone as confident as my father. No matter how bad a situation gets, he always knows how to brighten my day. It doesn't matter how he has to do it; whether it was a joke, a positive thought, a good memory or even a look back at a situation I overcame, he always proved to make me smile. When I was fifteen, my father had a heart attack, went into cardiac arrest and was on life support for a week. It was one of the longest weeks of my life and very emotional. I had overcome some of the worst emotions; such as anger, sadness, anxiety and even depression. Even though it was difficult, I knew my dad would want me to stay active and the rest of my family to stay positive. When he finally came off life support, the first thing he said was, "I'm going to get stronger, get out of this hospital, and carry on like nothing happened." » Her positivity helps me every day when I'm dealing with a problem or a desperate situation. I will always remember this moving but meaningful memory. Since my father likes to stay active, he never associates himself with unfavorable situations or environments that cannot be transformed into positive ones.
