It is said that there are seven true movie stars in the world, and Sean Connery is one of them. While one might dispute the actual number of people who could claim star status, no one would dispute the hypothesis that Sean Connery is one of them; Plus, he's not just a star, he's a super-star. Sean Connery was an extraordinary being with many talents; his exciting and decorated career as James Bond and with other great films will be something to remember for centuries. Sean Connery had a simple upbringing in his poor neighborhood. Sean Connery was born as Thomas Sean Connery on August 25, 1930, in Fountainbridge, Scotland. This probably shaped Sean Connery into who he is today, growing up in a poor neighborhood. Sean Connery is a tough, rugged man who is proud of his country. Known in his youth as "Tommy", Connery grew up on the streets with the rest of the young people of Fountainbridge, playing tag or football. Connery had a normal life as a child, causing trouble and playing with his friends. It was probably difficult for his mother to keep up with such an active boy. Connery claims to have had a few sexual relationships with local ladies when he was 8 years old. He was quite a wild child who would skip school and help his father play. It turned out like as a child it shaped him into who he is as a man. It seems that as a young boy, Sean ran and hung out with the wrong crowd; just like most kids his age tend to do. Sean may have been a young drifter, but he had ambition. At the age of 13, Connery stopped going to school to work full-time on a dairy farm; three years later he joined the Royal Navy. As a sailor, he was loyal to his country's service and even got a tattoo saying "Scotland Forever." From a poor schoolboy to a young heartbreaker, via a successful actor; Sean had come a long way. It is inevitable that he is one of the most successful self-made actors in film history and one of the most famous Scottish celebrities of all time. However, he does indeed give a lot of credit to his fans, as most other stars do. “Everything I did had to be accomplished in my own cycle, at my own pace, in my own name and with my own sweat,” he said.
