Yet “Danger of a Single Story” by Chimamda Adiche is proof that stereotypes are very dangerous. Adichie explains how unique stories have the power to lead people to stereotypes about the stories told by others. In particular, Paradise Now directed by Hany Abu-Assad emphasizes the celibacy of Muslims by showing their negative side. Paradise Now is a film about two Palestinian residents, Said and Khaled, who are on a mission to carry out suicide bombings and bomb the neighboring country, Israel.
