Essay / Credibility - 543
Credibility is when someone can trust or rely on you. Tom Cruse is a good example because credibility is important for a group, because if a lot of people hear about your mistakes, or how quickly people leave the group because one person can never get along with whoever it is, people will win. I don't want to be a fan of it! The personality of a group's members really affects their fan base. Woe Is Me, is a metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2009. They were signed to Rise Records. The only original member who remained in the band was guitarist Kevin Hanson after their album Numbers. The band was founded in 2009 by former Of Machines drummer Austin Thorton, who founded the band with Kevin Hanson, Cory Ferris and Ben Ferris, all of whom were part of a local Atlanta-based band named Cheyne Stokes. Time Sherril, who left Shooter Mcgavin, has also joined us! These five members then invited Michael Bohn and Tyler Carter for impure and clean vocal positions (Ciesa). After recording a few songs and covers, Rise Records signed them before they even played their first show. They recorded their debut album Numbers the same month they signed. Which reached number 16 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. Woe Is Me's first tour (Pyknic Partery tour) was shared with Drop Dead Wonderful, From First To Last, Sleeping with Sirens, Abandon All Ships, For All These Sleeping and Attila. It was this tour that got them noticed by fans! When people first heard "I've gone you once" by Woe Is Me, everyone knew the lyrics were about issues! WIM made a comment about Issues singer Tyler Carter being gay in his song, WIM also said in his song "I'm not the one to dwell on the past, so we'll see who will ...... middle of paper ...... WIM won back their fans and Issues made a sort of apology song on their last album When I grow up, I want to go to a good university! If I get bad grades and don't try throughout high school, most colleges won't accept me!Works CitedWork CitedCiesa, Mckenzie "Storify." Web. March 4, 2014.
