My letter will be addressed to (CDC Director, Thomas R. Frieden, MD mph) explaining why smoking should be sold in strip form, due to its harmful effects on the man. Smoking harms almost every organ in the body, causes many diseases, and reduces the health of smokers in general. Smoking is the biggest cause of death in the United States: because many people start smoking illegally at a young age and because they think it's cool. smoking and they stick to it and it harms their body, so they are at high risk of getting heart or lung disease. Because the reasons for high blood pressure can damage blood vessels. Bad cholesterol, called “bad cholesterol,” often gets stuck in scar tissue and combines with white blood cells. Good cholesterol helps prevent cholesterol from sticking and building up. The risks of stroke are also high. Because smoking increases blood pressure, as well as the buildup of cholesterol and the tendency of blood to clot, both types of stroke are more likely to infect the person who smokes. There are strokes caused by bleeding due to damage to the blood vessels and strokes caused by the vessel closing and preventing blood from flowing to the brain. This is why stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability among adults in America. Smokers are more likely than non-smokers to develop heart disease, stroke, and cancer: smoking is the leading cause of cancer, and cancer causes death.
