So some people benefit and others suffer. The effects vary from two perspectives: native residents and illegal immigrants. Depending on a local resident's perspective, illegal immigration can be seen as a bad decision for the economy. A local resident may have difficulty finding employment due to the large influx of illegal immigrants working for lower wages. Illegal immigrants not only pose a threat to the local population but also to the country as a whole due to their unknown background or criminal history. However, some natives might think that illegal immigrants help the economy by filling the labor gap needed for the economy to reach its full potential. On the other hand, the effects according to the point of view of illegal immigrants are very different. There is a whole new set of benefits for illegal immigrants when they settle in the country of interest. Illegal immigrants assume that they have not committed any serious crimes and that land everywhere is free for humans to live in. Most illegal aliens commit the crime of entering the country illegally in an attempt to erase their past and start a new life. however, this is usually not the right solution as they will have difficulty obtaining the correct ID.
