Essay / Fear in Folktales and Fairy Tales: The Dark Face of Fear . Childhood is scary and adulthood is intimidating. However, rather than blaming fear, it is better to recognize its motivational potential. To teach, you have to scare, and for that, it is important to know how to manage fear in a positive way (Boudinot). For example, rather than seeing a certain situation from only one side, look at it more closely and adjust the perspective. In conclusion, fear should be used as a teaching tool because it helps guide society and prevents individuals from finding themselves in hurtful situations. In addition, its use in fairy tales has proven to be a fundamental tool to educate society and increase its level of judgment. And finally, through a simple change in perception, fear can contribute to living a more productive and meaningful life.
