This does not prevent David from living a busy life with many relationships. He keeps around him what he calls his “community,” which is a group of his close friends. These are the people with whom he builds strong and intimate relationships, but this only goes so far. This shows me that David is capable and adjusted in his relationships because he feels comfortable and excepted by his friends and is not forced to do something that doesn't make him comfortable.
