Essay / A Tale of Seven Kisses - 917
After losing a stupid bet, Astrid has to kiss Hiccup every day for a miserable week. (I rated it M, better safe than sorry.) I don't own anything so these guys don't belong to me, I just really really like them. Also, I'm not a native English speaker, but I try to do my best, so grammar and spelling errors may occur, so beta readers are more than welcome. It was a beautiful day. One of the most beautiful of this year. Finally, it was summer, the sun was shining and the temperature was above 25 degrees. Most Vikings were sick in this weather and tried to hide in the shade or sleep in their homes during the summer days. There was, however, a Viking who greatly enjoyed the rare summer days offered by his inhospitable island. sand, in a very unpopular location not far from the southern end of the island. Why was it such an unpopular place? Well, it was basically a beach, a big lake with a small island in the middle, but the problem is that Vikings don't really like it when the water touches their skin. So they don't swim. Many of them preferred to drown peacefully by falling into the open sea rather than the boring and humiliating swim. But this sunbathing Viking was different, in many ways. The dragons weren't fans of the hot weather either, but at least they liked to swim. Hiccup enjoyed the way the sun burned his shoulders and bare stomach. He... middle of paper... he really didn't want to prepare breakfast for a week, the idea of being kissed during the same time seemed much more charming to him. easy fight. He was a grown man, and Astrid... well, she was just a woman, even if she was a fierce fighter. He was on top of her. He didn't sit on her, not wanting to crush her, but he kept her wrists firmly on the ground. “Five, four, three, two, one. And I won.", he said triumphantly as he let go of her wrists and lay down in the sand next to her. "When do you want to start?" he asked her, rejoicing in her power. "When I'm wrinkled, toothless and disgusting.", she said irritated. “You never said we had to start the next day.” “Fine,” he said with a hint of disappointment in his voice. “I totally deserved that response.” Astrid never looked back, she just dove into the water and swam to shore..
