Essay / My English Essay - 1025
I usually answer yes, no, or “I don’t know/I don’t care.” I use the latter a lot because I don't really feel comfortable talking to my parents. The words I use with my parents are actually the same words I use with strangers. I have a lot of trouble talking to people, and for some reason that includes my parents. If I'm asked a question, I'll answer it as best I can, but if it's something simple, I'll usually just answer with the aforementioned answers. Unless a person explicitly asks for some form of explanation, it's just the way I talk to people. I'm trying to work on it though and will keep trying until I feel like I can hold a normal conversation. I also noticed that I never really talk to anyone about my feelings, even though we are close. The way I speak English varies from person to person. If I don't know you at all, I will remain silent, only answering yes and no. If we are acquaintances, I will talk a little more, but remain formal and try not to reveal too much about myself. If we're close friends, I'll be a little more open and less formal, but I still don't reveal it.
