With this article I want to raise awareness that you need help getting test scores and that the answer is not just reading of a book. The way to reach struggling students is to make things active and see how more kids will be interested in learning. In the 1960s, Paul E. Dennison, "a specialist in kinesiology and an authority on breakthroughs in cognitive and academic skills, began the basic research on reading achievement and its relationship to brain development that would constitute the basis of Brain Gym work (http://www.braingym.org/history). With his study, he proved that the movement-based learning program transformed people's learning challenges into successes. Later, while trying to develop a comprehensive program, he offered students "sensory development, which helped students gain balance and perception skills (http://www.braingym.org/history)" . While continuing his university studies, he was offered a doctorate in education for his research.
