Well known to individuals who need its services or studies in the field of auditing and consulting, this company generated a turnover of more than 32 billion USD during the financial year 2012 to 2013. (Deloitte website) Its history dates back to the late 1800s, when William Welch Deloitte was appointed the first private individual to audit a public company, the Great Western Railway. From these humble beginnings, his company has grown with offices in 150 different countries and employs more than 200,000 professionals. Deloitte is one of the world's "Big 4" auditing firms, sharing this title with firms such as Ernst & Young.
