Although the path to the Kingdom of Heaven is accessible to everyone, not everyone will travel it because some find it too difficult or because people do not take the time to understand what does it mean? The answer was spoken by Jesus Christ and is written throughout the Bible, primarily in the Synoptic Gospels. For those who choose to follow the straight path, there are many things that the individual should know and expect. It's a difficult path, full of pitfalls, but in the end the reward is greater than anything. Without knowing how to stay on the path, an individual could end up losing this reward, which is eternal life. Jesus not only came to teach everyone how to be righteous, but He also died to cleanse the people of their sins. In doing so, he gave everyone the opportunity to choose between life and death. That is, life and death in the spiritual sense. “Therefore, Jesus teaches everyone to prepare for spiritual life in the physical world. Jesus has already done his part. It is now up to the individual to do their part. The first step is to ask for forgiveness for the sins he has committed. Although Jesus Christ is the bridge between humanity and God, God gave him the authority to forgive everyone's sins. His endless mercy will be available because He forgives all who ask for it. He will forgive all sins except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It is the only so-called unforgivable sin. After asking for and receiving forgiveness, the soul is cleansed of all sins and the individual must refrain from sinning in the future, in order to remain purified.
