Essay / Cornelius Eady's Analysis of the Supremes Poem
I come to this conclusion because a sports shower is a bunch of showers on the wall and all you see are buts and we asked for people to play and have fun, probably the reason why I never took a shower in the locker room. Line nineteen "froze the shy girls on the dance floor." Frozen means reported in these circumstances. They pointed out the girls on the dance floor who looked out of place, too stiff to dance or even nervous, the shy ones. Line twenty "radar-sharp faults" means you've been watching the girls. They found every possible fault in the person. I remember when I was younger and my friends would point out a girl and I would be nervous so I would find a million things wrong with her. Line twenty-one says that they now understand that this must have been the world. This means that they will soon be part of everyday life for adults. I say this because the older you get, the more you realize what is happening around you, your maturation. This stanza talks about the fun times they had and the memories they created which will stay with them even through ancient times.
