Essay / Summative assessment: summative and formative assessment
Each test is formed within a certain belief; no test is without culture. Each test reveals the principles and opinions of the culture (Seefeldt & Wasik, 2014). Using Informal Assessment Informal assessments help teachers target specific problems, adjust instruction, and intervene earlier to help students who are not learning what is being taught (Moersch , 2008). Information gathered from informal assessments can help educators decide how to design future lessons to meet the student's needs, how students should be grouped for instruction so that each student is learning at the right level of difficulty, which students need individual support and whether teaching is delivered at the right pace. Informal assessments help a teacher uncover misunderstandings and abilities (or inabilities) of a student that might not be adequately signified by other formal assessments. Educators use a range of assessment methods to increase the most accurate interpretation of students' overall development (Hurst, 2017).
