    Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill believed that success is not final, that failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. This is how he lived his life, he never gave up, he kept moving forward. Churchill, a man ahead of his time, does his best to bring the future into the present. Its history dates back to November 30, 1874, although its story doesn't really begin until a cold day in November 1899. November 1899, Churchill, a young man on an armored train loaded with British soldiers. These brave soldiers were carrying out a reconnaissance mission between Frere and Chieveley, both part of the British colony of Natal. A rock was placed on the track by a Boer commando. When the train hit the rock, rifle fire began from an advantageous position. The soldiers who were not injured by the wreck did their best to defend their injured allies and uncouple the locomotive. After seventy minutes of non-stop firefighting, the Boers rolled down the hill. Some men escaped on the locomotive, but Churchill was not among them. When Churchill finally awoke, he found himself in a ditch covered in sweat, oil, dust and the blood of his countrymen. Forty yards from Churchill's position, a Boer noticed him slip from his horse and fall to his knees. This Boer put the Englishman in his sights, Churchill went to get his pistol but he wasn't there, he was on the train. Churchill knew that the Boers had him perfectly. Churchill knew he had two options and chose the one he thought was best. He turned himself in, ready to adapt to life as a prisoner.
