    Just as the fish of the Gulf of Mexico lost their home, the animals of Alaska, specifically the ANWR region, are home to hundreds of species of birds, bears, foxes and many other animals. The 200 million gallons of oil spilled into the Gulf are proof that oil drilling poses a serious threat to the environment. Thousands of animal species including fish, birds, molluscs, reptiles and mammals. each of these species homes has now been contaminated with oil.
