    Being a reflective practitioner means that an educator must take time to reflect on their classroom processes and the results of their efforts and find ways not only to progress, but also to improve its current methods. . This helps improve the quality of education for all students and allows educators to become more effective educators. Self-reflection and sharing ideas and concepts with other educators makes the teacher a more well-rounded and effective teacher. Personally, I enjoy working with other educators who share ideas and ideas. I learn from others and share my ideas with my peers. It also gives me a way to reflect on the methods of other educators in order to develop my own teaching methods and practices that improve my performance in the classroom. York-Barr et al. It is very important as an educator to reflect both independently and with others in order to grow and develop as an educator. I try to take time every day after work to think about what went well that day, what didn't work, and what I could do differently next time. I'm also trying to decide that I want to achieve short and long term goals in my classroom. In doing so, I am able to see my role as an educator and try new and innovative ways to provide the best teaching possible. Reflective practice is a great concept and empowering process that allows educators to progress both middle of paper at the same pace. It is important to decide how to teach students in a meaningful way in order to find ways to better improve the quality of education in the classroom, both today and in the future. One area or practice that I believe needs research is obtaining reliable and valid predictors of future student outcomes that reflect an accurate measure of change over time. With this, I can revise my lesson plans and class schedule accordingly and track student results as they progress locally as well as across the country. I may also study revisions to standards and practices as well as study new legislation that directly affects student performance (such as revisions to laws like No Child Left Behind). This will also help me adjust classroom teaching accordingly as well as meet accountability requirements..
