One of my most important goals is to become a doctor. To achieve this goal, it is necessary for me to attend and complete my medical studies. My undergraduate education will provide me with the necessary knowledge I will need to successfully pursue my goal of attending medical school. Throughout my academic career, I will deepen my knowledge in scientific fields such as biology and chemistry, which will contribute to my understanding of the human body. Additionally, while studying psychology in college, individuals learn about chemicals in the brain and how they affect behavior and bodily functions. By understanding more clearly how the human brain works, I will better understand the human body and develop the knowledge a doctor needs to treat a patient. During the first years of my university studies, I will be able to familiarize myself with the post-secondary environment as well as the courses. When the time comes to apply to medical school, I hope my academic training will allow me to do so. Studying medicine will allow me to achieve my goal of becoming a doctor. My courses will become more specific and geared specifically towards a career as a doctor. I believe this goal of becoming a doctor is extremely achievable with hard work and determination over the next ten years.
