Some people will choose their party based on a few things. Some people will choose a party because it's the same one their parents always had. Sometimes standing doesn't look good. In fact, agreeing with a politician of the same party, with the same morals, like me, is also very comforting. This shows how much members of the same party have in common. Pressuring someone to do it isn't the best solution either. This somewhat detracts from the veracity of the electoral system we already have in place. A person should not feel like they already have to make a decision in political matters. Hopefully one day people won't take this party system so seriously that they worry about
