    Look at all the images we see of tanned, shiny and slim, shiny and shimmering bodies; women with perfect jaw lines, perfect makeup and whose faces never really age in the many years that have passed, but still remain as beautiful as ever. Does any of this make sense or sound familiar? The results lead many women to spend thousands of money and time to become a beauty queen. Toddlers, teenagers and women are attracted to what the media portrays as an ideal woman: poor health and body image. We are so captivated by the media and it is “perfection” that we see in it, it is self-destruction. Toddlers and teenagers are overly sexualized at a young age. They participate in beauty contests. Their needs and desires are higher than usual, they want to look good and behave like a woman. One of their biggest dreams is to become a super model when they grow up. All they want to be is what they see on TV and what we are as role models for them.
