  • Essay / Enders Game: Ender's Game By Scott Card - 645

During the winter break of 2014, I finished the novel "Enders' Game." When I first heard it, I only knew that it was an extremely famous science fiction written by Carte Scott. the plot is also said to be very exciting. However, after actually finishing it, I found that what the novel enlightened me was much more than I had previously thought. “Ender's Game” is about an event in the future when the earth is under threat from buggers. The international fleet intends to train gifted children to provide good soldiers and commanders for the unexpected war against the buggers. As a result, Ender and other talented children are sent to a "battle school" to be strictly cultivated. During training, Ender and his team are usually secretly given extremely difficult and difficult missions by the teacher in order to properly utilize and develop Ender's exceptional talent. Furthermore, the missions I mentioned are not that simple. The entire team will be immediately defeated if there is no leader who can always make wise decisions. However, whenever Ender and his team face these emergencies, he will decisively stand up and shoulder the heavy burden and responsibility of being a commander. He sincerely loves his team, no matter how unfair the combat rules are to them, no matter how impossible the mission is to complete; he will do his best to win the game as a commander without any desire to give up. Seeing Ender bravely stand up to face these tasks again and again that are almost impossible to accomplish, I am very moved. This is the spirit of Ender's leadership, which is also the great fortune that "Ender's Game" gave me. As a leader, or even a normal member of a team, accountability to our team becomes the focus of the paper... lack of money and time. At this urgent moment, our “boss” asked us for the volunteer who wanted to take full charge of it. When everyone was silent, I suddenly thought of Ender's courageous look when facing these problems. Then, for reasons unknown, I raised my hand to volunteer. Since then, I have had to spend days and days working on various financial and social issues. The activity finally arrived; our club achieved a turnover of 2,500 yuan----neither high nor low price. But after solving so many problems and successfully solving them, I felt proud of myself. Through the educated novel “Ender’s Game,” I learned the necessity and importance of standing up and taking responsibility as a leader. Courageously becoming a leader is truly a challenge and a fortune for me. But in the future, I hope this principle can be followed throughout my life..
