Life Mission StatementI always knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life, keep my faith strong, play football, and go to college because of a football scholarship, then being recruited to play in the NFL. , and from there, football coach after his retirement. Although my path may have strayed a bit, the path is still intact, but it could instead lead to a career as a naval officer. The principles of my course have remained constant however and my life mission is to live my life to please God and my family using the talents God has blessed me with to help transform others into better people and to to be a positive role model in their lives.MissionGrowing up in Texas, coupled with growing up in the Catholic Church, has definitely influenced my outlook on life and this is reflected in my life mission statement. As a young child, I was always taught to put God first in everything I do, to give my all to my greatest endeavors, and to use what He blessed me with to be the best I can be. These values have always coincided with my lifelong dream of playing in the NFL, although the NFL is still a possibility. My career plan as an officer in the army still corresponds to some of my values. Like using my talents that God has blessed me with, making my family proud, and my desire to be a positive role model for others to follow. When it comes to leadership, I learned a lot about myself through numerous discussions and surveys. For example, five of my innate talents are interpersonal, strategic, competitive, futuristic and command. Of course, I had some idea of these talents from playing over 12 years of football, but this course brought that idea to fruition and also showed me just how much. ...... middle of paper ...... the few approachable upperclassmen that the plebs will feel like they can talk to, both in my company and to the new additions to the team . My main goal is to show them what leadership is supposed to look like, unlike the screaming and complaining from my current training staff, which has no positive effect on company morale or anything for that matter. . I will show them respect while demanding it in return. I will also try to be there to support them as much as possible to be that positive role model that almost everyone lacks as plebs at the Naval Academy. Although my career path may change my values and my life mission has remained the same through it all, to live my life pleasing God and my family using the talents God has blessed me with to help transform others into better people and being a positive role model in their lives.
