  • Essay / My Living Community - 1047

Many students strictly follow the bus schedule and expect the bus to be there when they arrive on time. But sometimes the bus driver leaves earlier than expected, students end up missing the bus they were supposed to take and being late for class. Another problem is that there are not enough bus stops on North Campus, the school has only built bus stops in the residence halls, and the only exception is the student union. There are no bus stops for academic buildings, such as the Natural Sciences Complex or Capen Hall. This is the real downside for students who live on the Ellicott. Students who live in Ellicott must either walk 15 minutes to the student union or wait for the bus. Most students get off the bus at the Student Union and will then have to walk through the tunnels to their academic building. The student had to leave the dorm about thirty minutes before class just to get to class on time. It takes away the whole purpose of doing or the convenience of doing. Many students sleep in a dorm just to be close to university buildings so they don't have to wake up so early because university life is very stressful because of school.
